Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s mission is to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and help alleviate problems concerning girls and women in order to improve their social stature, to maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of “Service to All Mankind.”

Welcome to Nu Psi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Since our founding on January 15, 1908, Alpha Kappa Alpha has been committed to excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service to all mankind.

Nu Psi Omega proudly upholds this legacy through impactful programs, community engagement, and a steadfast commitment to sisterhood. Guided by our Founders' vision, we continue to serve with purpose, integrity and compassion.

Join Nu Psi Omega Chapter in Raising Awareness for Heart Health

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is proud to join the American Heart Association in the fight against heart disease in order to improve the health of all women. On this special day, Alpha Kappa Alpha women will take off our pink and wear red for the day to raise awareness of this deadly disease and promote life changes that will increase the longevity of the lives of women around the globe.
